 Date – Novmeber 20, 2009

Place – Emerson Elementary School Auditorium/Playground

Time schedule:

6:00pm – Sandwiches and chips available for purchase

before the lecture in front of the auditorium

6:30pm – Lecture

7:30pm – Sky viewing

if there is rain or excess cloud cover

we have the lecture only.

Cost – FREE

If we view the stars outside there will be coffee and hot chocolate available for purchase. Students will have limited craft activities available to do while waiting for their turn to look at the sky.

CAL NATIONAL STUDENT BANKING DAY

Cal National

Student Banking Day at Emerson!! Cal National Bank will have representatives on hand to collect student deposits on Tuesday, Nov 3rd from 8:15-8:30 am, under the lunch shelter on the upper playground.  They will be giving prizes to the students who make deposits into their student bank accounts.  And if you do not have a student bank account, a bank representative will be on hand from 8:10-8:30 am, in the main hallway, outside the computer lab opening up new accounts.  To open a new student banking account, you must have the student’s social security number and an opening deposit of $5.00.  Parents to open your own new checking account with Cal National, you will need your driver’s license, your social security number along with $100.00 for the opening of the account.  You do not need to order checks, atm cards or anything else.  For each new checking account opened at Cal National, Cal National will donate $30.00 to the school and PTA.  Any questions, please contact Jodi at hjasg2002@yahoo.com
